Willie Devargas

When I first heard Willie perform, I thought, this is the kind of performance I’d love to see around a campfire.  His raspy, folky voice and laid-back vibe were totally unique, and the fact that he plays guitar while tapping his foot on a tambourine only made him that much more endearing. That’s why I asked him to perform at my son’s first birthday.

His set is a combination of songs you grew up with, songs he makes up on the fly, not to mention he's got a pretty good duck impersonation. It’s folky, soulful, a little silly, and the kind of music that works just as well for kids as it does for parents.
